West Orange is the home to over fifty community organizations. At least four of these, the West Orange Arts Council, the Oscar Schindler Performing Arts Center (OSPAC), the Battery Factory Theatre  and JCC MetroWest are major local non-profit art havens, featuring events and performances throughout the year. The Turtle Back Zoo and the Edison National Historic Site have also made their home here.
