All participants are muted on entry and can opt to turn on/off their camera on the call. Only 1 speaker at a time can talk Participants will be allowed to "raise hand" (a zoom feature) to make statements, ask questions or type them in the chat box. Only designated Commissioners will be permitted to share their screen. All responses, questions, inquiries will be directed to the chair. Disrespect on any level, profanity, name calling will not be tolerated and will cause participant to be removed from the Zoom call and banned from reentry. After allowing residents to ask questions or make personal statements, then the Commission can answer or respond if known. When the commission has engaged these discussions after previous crisis, our united response has been well received by the community.

Due to the Corona Virus- the payment due date has been extended. We will advise on the final date when available. Office Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 am- 4:30 pm. We are closed on all Federal Holidays.

Governor Phil Murphy has issued Executive Order 130 permitting governing bodies to extend the due date for second quarter property taxes to June 1, 2020. Payment must be in the office by that date, if not, interest will be calculated back to May 1st. Please remember that all Municipal Offices are closed to the public. You may mail your tax payment to : The Township of West Orange-Tax Collectors Office 66 Main Street West Orange, NJ 07052 OR There is a plastic container in the front vestibule of the building that mail can be placed and will be collected. Please place in an envelope marked Tax Collector OR There is an after hours drop box attached to the building in the rear next to the entrance steps.
