Joe Fagan, the Township Historian, will be taking a historic look at the cemetery at the corner of Scotland Road and Main Street where many of West Orange's first settler were buried over three hundred years ago when First Presbyterian Church of Orange was known as Mountain Society. This look back will feature the stories of Anthony Olef, Jemimi Condict, Mary Williams, and the 78 veterans of the American War of Independence resting in the old burying ground. Finally, we will look at The Dispatch Rider of the American Revolution statue which was installed in 1907 during the Centennial Celebration of the Oranges.
