• Gas guzzler municipal vehicles are being replaced with new vehicles with hybrid technology. This process will take a few years as older vehicles are removed from service.
• Skylights designed to maximize natural sunlight are being considered for some municipal buildings during scheduled renovations.
• Recycling bins are being placed in West Orange parks, schools, and municipal facilities to promote and facilitate recycling.
