BIOGRAPHY

Tammy Williams is an entrepreneur and a community champion who is committed to and improving the well-being and health of adults and children. She believes that by working together “Everything Is Possible”. A Top Producing Real Estate Broker with over 20 years of sales experience and organizational leadership experience, she is committed to helping others. 

EDUCATION

Tammy completed her MBA in Public Administration from Northcentral University.  She graduated from the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill with a BS degree in the Administration of Criminal Justice.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Recognized with the esteemed NJ Realtor “Realtor of the Year”® award and as a Top Producing Realtor®, Tammy uses her entrepreneurial knowledge and business acumen to benefit others. Tammy has a history of serving the West Orange community and is active in numerous community and service-based organizations. She was driven to help others after the premature death of her younger sister. Tammy leads the West Orange (STOP) Suicide Advocacy Coalition (WOSAC) whose mission is to gather and streamline public education, supportive services, training, and intervention resources related to suicides in the Township of West Orange and beyond.  In its first year, the WOSAC held a 5K Run/Walk to raise community awareness, provided mental health training workshops to the West Police & Fire Departments, West Orange Schools Counselors, hosted mental wellness activities at West Orange High School, and was recognized with a Township Proclamation for providing relevant community awareness.

In 2016, Mayor Robert Parisi appointed Tammy as the Chairwoman of the West Orange Human Relations Commission (HRC). The HRC goal is to ensure fairness by developing and implementing programs and initiatives that encourage a positive and constructive dialogue within the township about diversity-related issues. Additionally, she served on the West Orange Planning Board and Citizens Budget Advisory Committee for the Township to help support and promote economic growth in West Orange. The Planning Board reviews all planning applications for the Township with adherence to the master plan. The Citizens Advisory Committee reviews the municipal budget to aid the administration in allocating community services and resources during the financial budgeting process. Tammy also serves on the NJ Supreme Court Fee Arbitration Committee[JJ1] .   This committee arbitrates disputes between clients and attorneys.

Tammy is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, the Pearls of Wisdom Foundation, Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, the National Association of Parliamentarians, and several Real Estate organizations. Tammy is also a facilitator and speaker at companies, colleges, high schools, and other groups on topics related to real estate, team building, networking, interviewing, and maximizing your potential.   Tammy will represent West Orange residents with high ethical and moral standards and raise the bar on upholding government accountable. 

FAMILY

A proud mother of children educated in West Orange (WOHS Class of 2015 and Class of 2021), Tammy is happily married to John McNair and together they have three children.
