Thomas Edison Historic Site

Operated by the United States Department of the Interior.
Open
to the general public. The Edison National Historic Site, visited in
1998 by First Lady Hilary Clinton. The historical site recently reopened to the public after a major renovation project. Glenmont, Thomas Edision's home in Llewellyn Park is also
open to the public. It is the location of the Black Maria, the nation’s first moving
picture studio.
Laboratory Complex
Wednesday through Sunday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Glenmont Estate
The Glenmont grounds are open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 11:30am - 5:00pm.
House Tours are offered between 12:00pm and 4:00pm. A ticketed tour is the only way to enter the house.
